Care has been my life's work. For over three decades I've looked after people during some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives — as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Home Health Aide for 20 years, as an EMT, and as a medical transporter who's spent a decade getting patients safely where they need to be.
For the past five years I've worked as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, and it's become my favorite part of the job. A blood draw can feel intimidating, so I take my time, keep things calm, and treat every person the way I'd want my own family treated — with patience and a gentle hand, whether you have tricky veins or you're simply not a fan of needles.
